Murray Chapman

Murray’s work focuses on helping boards and leadership teams create the clarity, cohesion and organisational conditions required for sustained high performance. He works closely with Chairs, directors and senior executives to strengthen governance, align strategy and culture, and build the collective capability needed to navigate complexity and deliver long-term impact.

He believes organisations perform at their best when boards and senior teams are unified around a clear direction, disciplined in their governance, and intentional about the culture they shape. His approach centres on enabling leaders to make better decisions, work more effectively together, and ensure the organisation has the people, structures and systems required to execute strategy.

Murray has a particular interest in four critical drivers of organisational and leadership effectiveness: attracting and retaining the right workforce aligned to purpose and strategy; creating aligned, engaged and accountable teams with clear priorities and expectations; translating purpose into meaningful outcomes for customers, patients, students or communities through disciplined execution; and developing cohesive, high-performing boards and executive teams with strong governance and decision-making.
