Libby Joyner

Libby Joyner is an experienced governance advisor who helps boards and executives strengthen governance, accountability and decision-making in complex and highly regulated environments.

With 30 years of experience spanning legal practice, governance leadership and advisory roles, Libby has worked across a broad range of sectors, with particular depth in financial services and APRA-regulated organisations. She has advised large and complex Australian organisations through significant regulatory change, governance transformation, and major organisational initiatives.

Libby brings deep experience in board and committee effectiveness, governance frameworks, delegations, accountability structures and policy frameworks. She also has strong experience implementing governance reforms, including the design and implementation of accountability frameworks under BEAR and FAR.

Known for her practical and pragmatic approach, Libby works closely with boards, company secretaries and executives to strengthen governance practices, clarify accountability and improve organisational effectiveness.

She is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (FGIA FCG).
